Dear friends and colleagues,
We are saying goodbye to three wonderful people on the Pacific Western Region’s staff on June 30th/July 1st!
Our developmental Regional Lead, Rev. Carlton Elliott Smith, is moving on after completing the hard work of fully regionalizing the four UU districts of the West (not to mention managing our team through a worldwide pandemic!) Two of our field staff, the Rev. Sarah Movius Schurr and Annie Scott, CRE, are retiring after careers in ministry and religious education, including 8 years and 5 years on PWR staff, respectively, and are looking forward to more time with their adorable grandchildren.
We invite you to join us to say goodbye! We are hosting three separate Zoom parties with UUA staff and UU constituents together, to honor each departing staffer individually and fully. You’re invited to RSVP for the Zoom parties you wish to attend.
Annie’s: Monday, June 10th, 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific
Carlton’s: Friday, June 14th, 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific
Sarah’s: Monday, June 17th, 4pm Eastern/1pm Pacific
